All thoughts and opinions are my own. It’s the perfect app for any party. They are impressive enough to serve alone, but are right at home in a more expansive spread. Plus, it makes for a fab homemade food gift. Now add the drained cheese balls and toss so as to coat the cheese in the herbs mixture. Add mozzarella balls and turn bag several times to coat. Marinated mozzarella balls may be the easiest appetizer recipe ever. Marinated mozzarella balls make for a great appetizer when entertaining.

Serve with crusty bread, roasted red peppers, and or even fresh tomatoes. Chop up your fresh herbs and garlic and place into the container. I had planned on serving them with pasta but there are no serving directions and i don’t know how to get them warm without melting the cheese. Add mozzarella balls and toss to coat. Olive Oil Marinated Mozzarella Balls

These Olive Oil Marinated Mozzarella Balls Are A Quick And Easy Appetizer That Takes Less Than 15 Minutes To Make. It's The Perfect Appetizer For Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Or Any Other Party!.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3/4 cup Bertolli extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt (or to taste)
  • 16 ounces bocconcini or ciliegine mozzarella (drained)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mix together the olive oil, garlic, herbs, red pepper flakes and salt.
  2. Add the mozzarella balls, stir to fully coat.  
  3. Allow to marinate for an hour or longer. The longer they marinate, the better the flavors will be. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to five days.

Also great served over pasta. Chop the mushrooms in half and julienne the bell pepper. Let the veggies marinate for at least an hour.
