Nut-Free Homemade Pesto

This Easy Homemade Pesto Is Also Nut Free!  it Only Takes 5 Minutes And Tastes Amazing. Freshly Made Pesto Is Like Summer In A Jar!.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cups packed fresh basil
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup 2 ounces fresh grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1-2 cloves garlic (minced or pressed)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt (or to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Add everything except the olive oil to a food processor.
  2. While the processor is running, slowly pour the olive oil through the feed tube in a steady stream.  Process until smooth.
  3. If needed, scrape down the sides with a rubber spatula and pulse a few times until everything is incorporated.
  4. Store in the refrigerator.
